I am new to this and looking around for help .The app that I am writing is an animation previewer, and I have run into some issues when I try to overlay one bitmap over another while playing an animation in it.
The situation is the following: I have 2 images, the background image and an animation frame. What I want to achieve is to have the animation frame change nicely during the course of the animation, while all the time remain visible ontop of the background. I managed to get it to work by continously redrawing both bitmaps of a wxPanel control that I use as a drawing surface, but the problem is that the redrawing procedure is very apparent. By this I mean that the actual frame is not a 'solid' image, but more of a 'flickering field', because of the constant redrawing of the background image. I was wondering if there is maybe a way around this? .I went through many resources and also checked many animations graphics examples but did not find any solution. Please help me out.
Any help will be appreciated.
